GCPI inspects BGT’s training center

Representatives from the General Company for Ports of Iraq (GCPI) and the Umm Qasr port management recently toured the quay crane and rubber-tired gantry crane training facility at Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT). The visit is part of the continuing support and cooperation program between the parties, 10 years since BGT started operations at the Port of Umm Qasr. BGT’s investment in the state-of-the-art facility is a testament to the company’s commitment to align the skills of local staff with international standards.
