CGSA inks partnership with Andinave

General cargo operations at Contecon Guayaquil

Contecon Guayaquil (CGSA) signed a three-year commercial agreement with the Andinave, Ecuador’s largest bulk and breakbulk agent, for the handling of project cargo and steel materials.

The contract formalizes a long-term collaboration between the two companies and positions CGSA to capture additional volumes in the project and industrial cargo segments. The expected increase in throughput will be supported by the terminal’s existing infrastructure, equipment and operational systems designed for safe and efficient handling of complex and heavy-lift cargo.

More than just a business milestone, the additional volumes are anticipated to contribute to supply chain activity, generate employment within the logistics and industrial sectors, and further strengthen the Port of Guayaquil’s role as Ecuador’s leading port.
