CGSA enhance CFS capacity with new equipment

Contecon Guayaquil (CGSA) strengthened the capacity of its container freight station by adding eight new Toyota forklifts. The new equipment expands the terminal’s fleet to 19 units with 2.5-ton capacity.

This investment is part of the terminal’s continuing modernization strategy, designed to ensure greater operational readiness and support increasing cargo volumes with enhanced efficiency and reliability.

The expanded fleet improves equipment availability, streamlines cargo handling operations, and reduces maintenance costs associated with aging assets. CGSA is also set to receive 10 additional forklifts and 15 terminal tractors that will further strengthen operational capacity.

CGSA is committed to delivering world-class port services and supporting Ecuador’s growing foreign trade.
