BGT completes facility safety enhancements

Safety and operational excellence go hand in hand at Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT). As part of its effort to maintain high standards across terminal facilities, BGT recently completed several upgrades to improve both safety and daily operations.

Among the upgrades were the remarking of the quay side and repainting of the main roads within the yards. Clear road markings and designated safe passages now make it easier for BGT personnel and partners to move around the site more safely and efficiently. These changes support better navigation and visually reinforce HSSE standards.

BGT also carried out repairs and reinforcement work on warehouse gates. The upgrade strengthens the security of the facility and adds an extra layer of protection for cargo.
