BACT leaders, employees unite in prayer as ICTSI takes helm

Batu Ampar Container Terminal (BACT) held a joint prayer session at the Persero Batam office to mark the start of a new chapter under the management of International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI). The session brought together company leaders, employees, and partners to reflect on the transition and shared goals.
Sky Huang, BACT chief executive officer, opened the program by thanking attendees and highlighting the importance of prayer in seeking guidance for the terminal’s operations. He expressed hope that the management shift would support stability and growth for BACT and the wider Batam community.
Djoko Prasetyo, PT Persero Batam president director, said he expects smooth operations and increased cargo volume under the new management. Basori Alwi, PT Batam Terminal Petikemas president director, added that BACT’s development would strengthen Batam’s position as a modern and competitive container hub.
Mariano Turnes, ICTSI Asia Pacific portfolio director, also attended the session, and underscored the company’s commitment to BACT’s transition and long-term plans.
The session, led by Pak Sabtu, concluded with prayers for safety, efficient operations, and collective success, followed by a group photo.
