Organized annually by the National Secretariat of Ports, the Portos + Brasil Awards recognizes the performance and progress of Brazil’s ports and terminals. It highlights achievements in efficiency, modernization, and sustainable growth, citing top performers for each category.
The award was established as part of a broader public policy, encouraging continuous improvement of port management while also serving as a tool for building a historical database of sector performance. Categories recognize achievements in port authority management, throughput growth, financial performance, and gender equality in the workforce.
This year’s awards were presented to the top three performers across key categories including IGAP (Port Authority Management Index) Ranking, IGAP Advancement, Gender Equality, Total Movement Growth - Absolute Variation, and Total Movement Growth - Percentage Change.
Tecon Suape’s recognition in throughput growth reinforces its role as one of Brazil’s most dynamic port terminals, reflecting both operational efficiency and commitment to supporting trade and logistics in the region.
