OJA sets productivity record

PT. PBM Olah Jasa Andal (OJA), International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) business unit operating Tanjung Priok, Terminal 3 Berths 301 to 303 of Indonesia Port Corporation – Terminal Petikemas (IPC-TPK), set a new productivity record of 95.72 box ship hours during its handling of MSC REGINA last 29 November.

The milestone marks the first and fastest service by PT. OJA since 2012, with seven quay cranes exceeding the 55 box ship hours set by the Directorate General of Marine Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia (Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut). 
 
With a length overall of 295 meters and draught of 8.3 meters, the MSC REGINA was carrying 2,385 containers equivalent to 3,555 TEUs during the call.  The Panama-registered box ship was travelling from Dublin and South Africa enroute to its destination in the Port of Shantou, China.
