LGICT marks 1 million safe manhours

Laguna Gateway Inland Container Terminal (LGICT) has reached 1 million safe manhours without a lost-time incident, underscoring the terminal’s focus on workplace safety and disciplined operations

LGICT serves as Southern Luzon’s inland dry terminal, supporting cargo movement between Metro Manila and the Calabarzon sub-region. It handles containerized, refrigerated, ISO tank, and project cargo, and has embedded safety practices into its day-to-day operations since its establishment.

The record reflects the impact of LGICT’s safety programs, employee training, and close coordination among workers, contractors, and partner agencies. The terminal maintains safe operations at its core for supporting customers and ensuring steady movement across the supply chain.

LGICT continues to adopt technologies and practices that strengthen safety performance as it supports growing trade activity in the region. The terminal aims to build on this achievement as it pursues higher operational standards in the years ahead.
