MTS ceases operations

PT Makassar Terminal Services (MTS) has ceased commercial operations following the expiration of the extended term of the cooperation agreement with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV on 31 January. 

The company held a farewell and recognition party for its more than 100 employees on 17 February to commemorate its 20-year operation at the Makassar Port Container Terminal in South Sulawesi. Throughout its contract, MTS is proud to have contributed more than 2.5 million TEUs to the ICTSI Group’s consolidated volume.
