BGT supports GCPI football club

Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT)is supporting the General Company of Ports of Iraq’s (GCPI) AL MINA’A football club as part of its contribution to sports development in the country.
 
Also known as the Iraqi Ports Football Club, the team is one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs to play in the Iraqi Premiere League, and the most famous club in Basra. BGT’s gesture reflects the strong partnership with GCPI and solidarity with the Basra community. 
 
Football holds a special place in the hearts of the Iraqi people. It’s not only a source of entertainment, but also a source of pride and identity. Iraq is the reigning champion of the Arabian Gulf Cup, winning the title as tournament hosts in 2023.
