Terminal Maritima de Tuxpan, S.A. de C.V.

Located along the banks of Tuxpan River, approximately 11 kilometers away from the Gulf of Mexico, the Port of Tuxpan is connected to the capital Mexico City via a newly built 36,646 kilometer highway. It is the port closest to the capital and the central Mexican states, which all together generate over half of Mexico’s gross domestic product. The port is strategically located on the Gulf of Mexico and is a vital entry point for the country’s trade with North and South America and Europe. The port handles petroleum and allied products, mineral bulk cargo, and agricultural bulk cargo.

Tuxpan is envisioned to become the alternative gateway to Veracruz for Atlantic and regional Americas trade.
